Peak migration season for birds is here for thousands of feathered friends heading to their breeding grounds to raise new families! This 2 mile walk through fields, woods, freshwater wetlands and Long Island Sound should turn up a great variety of woodland birds such as neo-tropical warblers, vireos, thrush, grosbeaks, and hawks. We may observe lingering seabirds as well, such as common loon and perhaps some shorebirds too. Bring binoculars if you have them and spray for ticks.
